FIRST
FIRST® (for Science and Technology Inspiration and Recognition) is a robotics community that prepares youth for the future through a suite of inclusive team robotics programs, for ages 4-18. FIRST vision is to transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated, where young people dream of becoming leaders in this field. The FIRST Robotics competition combines the excitement of sports with the rigors of science and technology.
MISSION
FIRST ®'s mission is to inspire young people to be leaders and innovators in science and technology by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programmes that develop skills in science, engineering and technology, which inspire innovation and promote all-round life skills including self-confidence, communication and leadership.
